The Hilton Hotel chain has signed an agreement with Europa, a four-star hotel in Iasi under which it will take over the hotel through its Hampton by Hilton brand in the second half of 2014. The hotel is located in Iasi’s World Trade Center building and is owned by the company Inproiect. According to the Ministry of Finance, the hotel’s turnover reached €1.06m in 2013. Phill Cordel of Hampton Brand Management said he expects the hotel to attract both tourists and business travelers.
