Bucharest is the 45th most expensive office markets in the world, according to a recent study reported by Mediafax which looked at 67 office markets. The average rental cost for a prime office space in Bucharest is €28.25/sqm/month or €339/sqm/year for a unit on the capital’s Piata Victoriei, according to the study.
Bucharest office rents come in at more expensive than prime rates in Prague, which averages €318/sqm/year. Rents in Lisbon, meanwhile, average €298/sqm /year, while rents in Bratislava average €257/sqm/year. The most expensive office market in the study is London’s West End district, with an annual cost of €2,122/sqm, followed by Hong Kong at €1,432/sqm/year.
