The U.K.’s economy grew 0.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2013, marking the end of what’s turned into its best annual showing since 2007. It followed a result of 0.8 percent growth in the third quarter, in a year that saw growth come to every sector except for construction. Overall, the UK economy expanded by 1.7 percent, driven largely by its largest branch, services (up to 0.7 percent). The IMF is predicting even better news a year from now, anticipating GDP growth in the UK of 2.4 percent.
