The 12th annual CIJ Awards Poland were held at the Westin Hotel in downtown Warsaw on Oct. 30 by CIJ, Central and Eastern Europe’s leading real estate magazine. The CIJ Awards are aimed at developers, their projects and their service providers in the commercial and residential real estate sector. On the basis of online voting by select CIJ readers and a panel of independent judges, BTS Castorama–Castorama Polska-Panattoni Europe/Colliers International was awarded Industrial/Warehouse Lease of the Year. The award was presented to Robert Dobrzycki, CEE regional partner and Marek Dobrzycki, managing director for Western Poland at Panattoni Europe.
Panattoni Europe’s project for Castorama Polska is the biggest warehouse developments the Polish market has seen this year. It is going up in Stryków and will feature 50,000 sqm. The facility will be used as a modern logistics center, with 49,220 sqm of warehouse space and 780 sqm of office space. The project is considered one of the biggest warehouse spaces ever built in the country.
