Ameriforge Group, Inc. announced that it has changed its name to AFGlobal Corporation, reflecting the company’s expanding global footprint and continued evolution to a vertically integrated turnkey solutions provider. AFGlobal serves the global upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas segments, as well as the power generation, aerospace, transportation and industrial markets.
Providing a full spectrum of products from molten metal to syntactic foam sciences, AFGlobal Corporation provides a wide range of products including drilling risers and gas turbine combustor components, subsea components such as manifolds, skids, plets, plems, production riser components, BOP assemblies and buoyancy modules, and individual parts such as precision machined and fabricated products. It also supports its diverse customer base through providing a variety of complementary aftermarket services.
Launched in 1996 as a forged products manufacturer, AFGlobal, headquartered in Houston, Texas, currently operates 30 facilities in five countries spanning four continents.
In December 2012, First Reserve acquired AFGlobal in partnership with management.
