SEGRO is looking to close new acquisitions this year in order to strengthen its position in Warsaw. Talks are said to be underway on some of the assets, but no details are being disclosed at this stage. SEGRO’s recent success at Ożarów Business Center is encouraging, having acquired the asset last year from the Orco fund for EUR 14.1m.
SEGRO’s country manager Magdalena Szulc says the project’s vacancy rate shrank since the deal was closed, from over 20 percent to less than 10 percent. “We plan to focus on our core assets in Poland this year in order to improve their performance,” Szulc said.
