Old Mutual plc announce that Ms Danuta Gray has agreed to join its board as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 March 2013. She will also become a member of the Group Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Ms Gray was Chairman of Telefónica O2 in Ireland until December 2012, having previously been its Chief Executive from 2001 to 2010. She has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and mobile phone sector. Ms Gray remains a consultant to Telefónica in Germany.
Prior to moving to Ireland, Ms Gray was a Senior Vice President for BT Europe in Germany and she has experience in sales, marketing, customer service and technology and in leading and changing large businesses.
