The Warsaw Stock Exchange drifted lower this morning on its WIG20 index, after the telecom TP SA pulled the bourse down at the beginning of the week. Although the index started today’s trading up slightly, it plunged later in the day to show just 0.2 percent drop before noon.
The European bourses also fell this morning right after the opening bell. The German DAX slumped 0.2 percent this morning, while the British FTSE 250 is down by 0.1 percent. The CAC40 index in France also dropped this morning, after disappointing GDP results: the French economy shrank 0.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012.
