New Europe Property Investments fund (NEPI) and Ovidiu Sandor have started the work on their project called “The Office”, located in the city of Cluj-Napoca. It’s intended to become Romania’s largest office complex outside capital, with a total lettable area of 54,000 sqm.
Work on the first phase of the complex, with a lettable area of 19,000 sqm, will take 14 months. Financing for this phase will be provided exclusively from their own sources, according to Wall Street.
The Office will be the first office complex outside Bucharest designed to match the requirements of class A space and BREEAM certification is also being planned. The entire project is supposed to be completed by 2016.
