Markus Tellenbach: TV ad market could rebound in H2

The Polish TV advertising market is likely to rebound in the second half of the year, according to Markus Tellenbach, head of the commercial television network TVN Group. “We’ve been positively surprised by January’s figures, which has shown that demand for TV advertising grew at the beginning of the year. All advertising slots were sold out” said Tellenbach.
Although many analysts are predicting the market could fall by another 5 percent this year,
Tellenbach said he’s expecting to see a recovery in the last six month of the year.
TVN said it is not planning on making any acquisitions or significant investments in 2013.
