Henkel – Ceresit, the German-based building materials company will open an adhesives factory in April in Neamt County, northern Romania. The new factory represents an investment of €10m, of which 30 percent of the amount are European funds.
The unit will have an area of 36,000 sqm and a capacity of up to 200,000 tons per year. The company also owns in Romania two production units, one near Bucharest, and one in Campia Turzii, Cluj County.
Also this spring, AdePlast, the company owned by entrepreneur Marcel Barbut factory will open an adhesives and mortars factory in the city of Roman, which was also an investment of €10m.
