Copisa to build new wind farm in Romania

7 February 2013

The Spanish construction company Copisa will build its third wind farm project in Romania, at Chirnogeni, in Constanta County. The €8m project will take the Spaniards five months to complete, including the installation of 32 turbines of 2.5 MW each, as well as a 25-kilometer access road. The project will use turbines from Nordex.

This is Copisa’s third project in Romania, after building the first two phases of a wind park in Mihai Viteazu, also in the Dobrogea region. Copisa runs its Romanian subsidiary from Bucharest.
