General Electric signed a $30m contract with Energia Verde Ventuno to install seven 17.5-MW wind power turbines in Romania’s Tulcea County.
The contract also stipulates that GE will provide maintenance services. The turbines will provide electricity to approximately 7,000 homes, according to the daily Ziarul Financiar.
The project will be co-financed by the European Union through its sectoral operational program. Energia Verde Ventuno is based in Bucharest.
