WSE rebounces Monday morning

Warsaw’s stock market entered the week on a positive note, as its WIG20 index rose 0.51 percent shortly after the opening bell, returning to the level of 2,500 points. The wider WIG index jumped 0.54 percent this morning to 47,197.86 points. Kernel (+1.5 percent), BPH Bank (+1 percent) and Touron (0.66 percent) were the biggest drivers for the jump, while Peleton and Telekomunikacja Polska have been pulling the indexes down, with a 0.67 percent slump. So far, the biggest Polish winners at today’s trading are Asseco and CD Projekt. Following its announcement this morning, the company’s Q4 2012 results has beaten market expectations, as its share price reached PLN 17.
