In a deal worth €200m, the Polish retail developer Rank Progress secured a JV partnership with Waste to Energy Canada (WtEC) for the construction of five waste incinerators across Poland. The five-year agreement was signed this week.
Under the agreement, Rank Progress will secure the land and oversee the planning and construction process, while WtEC will focus on the technologies needed for these projects. The JV agreement also includes future projects in Croatia and other CEE countries.
