The biggest players on the Polish financial market are looking to attract far more Polish stock market investors as clients than they’ve had until now. According to the website parkiet.pl, ING Bank Śląski, PKO BP and BZ WBK have introduced reduced distribution fees, though such discounts won’t become the market standard.
The local funds say they’re not afraid of the competition, because the banks aren’t offering any consulting services in their offering. “Reduction of the distribution fees is insufficient to attract clients, if the bank is not involved in the selling process,” says Krzysztof Muryn of PKO TFI.
