Penta Investment Group signed a long-term lease contract with Motel One group as part of its plans to open the first Motel One hotel in Prague in the summer of 2014. The hotel will be located next to Penta’s Florentinum project on Na Poříčí Street. Prague’s Motel One will offer 141 rooms in a facility similar to the 42 hotels the chain already operates around Europe.
“The innovative hotel will be located next to our landmark project Florentinum, in a building which was not part of the extensive clearance of the site in 2012. It will be refurbished into a hotel to serve tenants at Florentinum,” says Penta Investments project manager Petr Palička. He adds that while the complex is scheduled for completion by the end of this year, Motel One would follow in 2014. The chain focuses on moderate prices (rooms start at €49) in return for high quality design, according to Penta.
