Conergy enters Romanian market

21 January 2013

The German photovoltaic manufacturer Conergy entered the Romanian market with plans to develop a 2.2 MW power plant. Estimated to cost more than €3m, the plant will be located in Bobicesti, near the Romanian town of Craiova. Approximately 9,200 solar panel modules will be used, covering 13,700 sqm. The project will be developed in partnership with Solanna Investment.

The annual production of the park, around 2,900MW/h, will be enough to supply electricity to 870 houses. Conergy did not announce whether it will establish an office in Romania.
