Panattoni Europe announces that construction is ongoing on the second manufacturing facility for Faurecia, one of the leading manufacturers of automotive components. The 13,600-square-metre investment is the developer’s second project at the Legnica Special Economic Zone. The transaction was mediated by the real estate firm Colliers International.
Faurecia, one of the biggest international automotive manufacturers, chose Panattoni Europe for the second time as the partner to develop their new factory. The investment is under development at the Legnica Special Economic Zone, where Faurecia already has one of its manufacturing facilities. The emerging facility has a total of 13,600 sqm, of which manufacturing and warehouse space amounting to approx. 12,000 sqm will be used to make and store car interior decorative trim parts. Staff and office facilities are planned on 1,600 sqm. Construction works progress according to the plan, with completion planned for March 2013.
