The hotel group Orbis reported PLN 707.4m in income for the fourth quarter of 2012, a 2.1-percent increase compared with the same period last year. The occupancy rate at Orbis hotels increased to 52.4 percent in the last four months of the year, up from 48.4 percent reported last year. Revenue per room, however, declined in the fourth quarter of 2012 to PLN 106.9 from PLN 112.4 last year.
The company announced it will be looking for new development projects as well as franchise partnerships across Poland. Orbis recently offloaded its Polonez hotel in Poznań to Griffin Real Estate.
