Investment funds are a slow-growth market, the Polish investment guru Bogusław Grabowski told the news server parkiet pl. Grabowski said the biggest problem currently facing the Polish investment market is fund managers who do not have wider macroeconomic knowledge.
“As a former member of the Polish Monetary Policy Department, I’m amazed how some of the managers are not able to connect the result with the effect,” Grabowski said. “They often do not understand the that this market is not only managers, but also distributors: all the institutions that are currently selling last year’s return rate to the fund’s clients.”
