Two lease transactions were signed in the Prague West area at the end of 2012. The food wholesaler Foodish extended its lease at Business Park Rudná. The company also expanded its space and now has a total of 1,850 sqm at Rudná. Apart from its current existing storage at the business park, Foodish intends to open a new pasta production line there.
Meanwhile, the Danish company Orifarm, which imports generic drugs and dietary supplements, has leased 8,000 sqm of industrial space and 1,000 sqm of office space at Tulipan Park Hostivice. The company has plans to expand out across the CEE region. Jones Lang LaSalle brokered both deals in the two Prague West parks. Business Park Rudná is owned by Heitman and Tulipan belongs to three independent owners: Damco, Standard Life and Segro.
