The Hungarian IT company Synergon announced it acquired stakes in a number of companies for almost HUF 1.9 bn in cash and an unspecified number of shares. Synergon added that the acquisitions are expected to boost its consolidated revenue by about HUF 3bn. Synergon acquired stakes in NK services, Wiera group, GPSCOM and Adatvilág, a big local distributor of Symantec security products. With the Adatvilág deal, Synergon acquired a 500,000 sqm plot in an industrial park near the M1 motorway that will be turned into a data center with the help of European Union funding.
