Prime Minister Victor Ponta announced plans to add six new ministries to the government and divide the responsibilities of others. The Ministry of the Economy, for instance, will likely be divided into three distinct ministries – economy, energy and industry – while a new Budget Ministry will be created to work along side of the Ministry of Finance, according to government sources.
Other new additions include the Ministry of Large Infrastructure Projects, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Forests and Waters, it was announced.
