Péter Szijjártó, the Hungarian foreign affairs secretary, said the government would like to form a strategic partnership with Kuwait. Szijjártó travelled to Kuwait to discuss ways Hungarian companies can get involved with Kuwait’s national development plan. Szijjártó, who will chair the Hungarian-Kuwaiti joint economic committee, will also present major investment opportunities in Hungary during his visit. Additionally, he will discuss ways to expand cooperation in the health and energy fields. Szijjártó will also the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry meeting focusing on the development of inter-company ties.
