The European office of the advisor EC Harris will become a part of Arcadis in January 2013. The announcement ended a negotiation process started in November 2011. Once the deal is closed, the new company will be hiring 21,300 employees worldwide, with 300 specialists of EC Harris working in Poland. The new company will be now known as Arcadis EC Harris and will be providing its services in construction, infrastructure and environmental analysis sectors, covering entire Built Asset Consultancy advising process.
The companies have already been working on two projects in Poland, before the deal was officially approved: the extension of the Michelin factory in Olsztyn and the shopping mall Zamkowe Tarasy in Lublin. Marcin Klammer, head of ARCADIS and EC Harris in Poland, sad “We hope to expand in the Polish warehouse and energy sectors next year.”
