More than 20 units were sold at Alia Apartments over the past five months. The Bucharest residential project, completed in 2010, filed for insolvency earlier this year. Developed by Alia Inmobiliaria, the scheme comprises 124 apartments in three buildings as well as an underground parking garage for 200 cars.
Unicredit Tiriac Bank is hoping to recover €25m, which amounts to 50 percent of the project’s financing. Since July, 22 apartments have been sold, and an additional 12 units have been rented out.
The project also includes swimming pools in each building as well as a sauna, spa and gym.
