Skanska officially opened the first phase of its Green Horizon office project this week in the city of Łódź. Building A’s main tenant is Infosys BPO Poland, one of the leading players in the country’s business outsourcing sector. The company took 15,000 sqm of space. Its new office will add 2,000 jobs to the local market.
“By increasing employment in the center to approximately 2,000, we shall become the fifth largest business services sector employer in Poland,” said Krystian Bestry, European Delivery head and associate vice president at Infosys BPO. “Moving to a new building will allow Infosys to concentrate all of its employees in one office [and] implement plans for further recruitment.”
The seven-story Building A offers 19,000 sqm of space. The next phase of the 33,000 sqm Green Horizon project is set to start in the second quarter of 2013.
