Hungarian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó travelled to Azerbaijan to open the first Hungarian Trade House in Baku. The goal of the Trade House is to help Hungarian SMEs expand in the region. Szijjártó has discussed the possibility of opening a Wizz Air route between Budapest and Baku and of Hungary being a customer and transporter of Azeri liquefied natural gas. Hungary is planning to open Trade Houses in Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, China and Russia in 2013.
