Bank Leumi Romania’s profits increase during the first nine months

The net profit of Bank Leumi Romania, a subsidiary of Israeli Leumi Group, reached RON 12.8m during the first nine months of the year.

The bank reported a 7.7-percent increase in both corporate and retail lending, with corporate lending reaching RON 727m and retail hitting RON 263m.
Meanwhile, customer deposits grew by 0.5 percent, reaching RON 639m, according to Manfred Rauchwerger, senior executive vice president at Bank Leumi Romania.

Bank Leumi had 23 branches in Romania and employs 307 people.
