Poland could get more than PLN 3bn in EU funding for its research and development sector next year, according to a report by European consulting company Team EAST Taxand and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIIZ). According to the daily Puls Biznesu, the biggest beneficiaries of the EU grants will be the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, IT and biotechnology sectors. The grants will be available to all businesses within these sectors.
“The research and development sectors are weak in Poland, and this type of support is needed,” said Michał Gwizda of EAST Taxand.
