Petrom opens new fuel deposit in Isalnita

In an investment worth €26m, OMV Petrom (SNP) opened a fuel storage facility in the city of Isalnita. With a capacity of 11,000 sqm, the Isalnita depot will supply the southern part of Romania, according to Wall Street.

The project is part of a major investment program that will include the development of two other new fuel depots in the cities of Jilava and Brazi. The company also plans to upgrade three of its existing depots.

Construction of the three new fully automated depots in Jilava, Brazi and Isalnita, totaling 46,000 sqm, is expected to cost the company €87m.
