Four major airlines interested in ČSA

14 November 2012

Four major airlines have expressed an interest in partnering with the Czech national carrier ČSA, according to the news server Česká pozice, including Air France, Turkish Airlines, Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi and Korean Air. This is the second time the Czech government has tried to sell off the troubled airline. Officials said they are less concerned with the selling price than finding an investor that is able to support the long-term development of the airline carrier. But in 2009, the Czech government canceled the sale because the only offer it received was too low.
