Prices on the Polish energy sector have been decreasing since the second quarter of the year. As a result, the country’s top two energy giants, Tauron and Enea, have been doing poorly on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Only PGE has proven to be resistant, according to the daily Puls Biznesu. “We expect some substantial decline in energy prices next year,” said Paweł Puchalski from the BZ WBK brokerage office. “If the scenario proves to be true, the Polish energy sector will no longer be perceived as a defensive sector.”
