Alior Bank wants to raise PLN 700m from IPO

Alior Bank is set to issue an IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the fourth quarter and is hoping to raise PLN 700m. The bank said it plans to use the funds to continue its expansion on the Polish financial market, as well as to develop its business. The offering will be open to institutional and individual investors in Poland, as well as outside the country.
Alior is waiting for the Polish antimonopoly office KNF to approve the step. The bank currently has 209 branches across Poland.
