There has been a slight increase in office rents in Bucharest this year, according to data released by DTZ Echinox.
Monthly rents in the downtown areas (Victoria Square-Buzesti) currently run between €18.5 to €19.5 per sqm, according to DTZ, while rents in semi-central areas (Vasile Milea, Splaiul Independentei) fall between €13 and €16 per sqm. Meanwhile, rents in peripheral areas range between €9 and €12 per sqm, according to DTZ.
There has been a high level of interest for office space in the center (Piata Victoriei) and north-center areas (Floreasca – Barbu Vacarescu) this year, according to DTZ.
