Enea launches competition to find new head

30 October 2012

The supervisory board of the state-owned energy provider Enea announced Monday that it would hold a competition to fill the company’s top position. However, many suspect that a successor has already been found, according to the daily Puls Biznesu. Michał Jarczyński, head of Artic Paper, is considered the strongest candidate for the job, according to the newspaper.
“I can think of countless contests that were won by the most obvious candidate,” said Michał Machlejd, head of Delkia Warszawa. “Maybe we should end the hypocrisy of these state-controlled contests.”
“The biggest hypocrisy is hiring costly headhunters,” he added. Spencer & Stuart was selected to advise in the process.
