Construction commenced on the new Vodafone headquarters in the City West development in Prague 5-Stodůlky. Finep, Vodafone and VCES representatives took part in the cornerstone ceremony yesterday. VCES is the project’s general contractor. The building for the mobile operator will be built next to Komerční banka’s new headquarters, which Finep completed this year. The Vodafone building will be energy efficient, and the developer hopes to secure LEED Silver certification. It is scheduled for completion in June 2014, with Vodafone set to move in in January 2015.
