In an effort to promote Hungarian wines to locals and tourists alike, a new 150 sqm center called Forum Vinorum opened in the city of Sopron. According to Zsolt Rigler, CEO of Bormarketing Műhely Nonprofit LTD, the main goal is not to create a restaurant or a winehouse, but rather to provide a forum for local wine producers to market their products. The project’s total cost was around HUF 40m, three quarters of which was financed by the European Union.
