Warimpex expects its 2012 income to increase by 11 percent this year, after recording an increase in like-for-like sales of 11 percent in the third quarter of the year. This would mean the company’s income could expand by €10m by the end of 2012, while its EBITA profit would climb €7m, claims Franz Jurkowitsch, head of Warimpex. This year’s expectations are being driven in part by the impending deal for the Warsaw Intercontinental hotel that’s expected to be closed this year. “The final agreement on the sale is expected in three weeks,” says Jurkowitsch. “In addition to the Intercontinental, we’re currently in negotiations on three new transactions, regarding LaPalais office building and two other hotels; one in Poland and one in Prague.”
