Salgglas completes new factory for HUF 1bn

The glasses producer Salgglas has built a new factory in Salgótarján in an investment worth HUF 1.125bn. The new facility will allow the company to satisfy a rise in the number of orders it receives, thanks to an innovative method for producing glasses. In order to complete the investment, which will provide 300 jobs to the region, the company has received a HUF 500m loan from the New Széchenyi Plan. It’s the next chapter in the story of Hungary’s oldest glass factory, which was established in 1893.
