EIB gives Hungarian businesses €100m loan

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has given the Hungarian Bank for Development (MFB) a €100m loan to help finance investments and infrastructure projects for small and middle-sized enterprises and businesses in Hungary.
“This EIB loan will improve the access of Hungarian SMEs – the backbone of Hungary’s economy – to long-term financing and facilitate the implementation of priority municipal infrastructure projects,” said Wilhelm Molterer, EIB’s Hungarian representative.“This will help to create new job opportunities and contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of Hungary.”
