Polimex-Mostostal, PBG and Rafako – three of the biggest players in Poland’s construction sector – could join forces. “We’ve been observing the restructuring of Polimex and the statements made by the Industry Development Agency,” Jerzy Wiśniewski, owner and head of PBG’s supervisory board, told the daily Puls Biznesu. “Based on this, there could be a new concept developed, to set up a large construction group, linked by ARP.” If the companies merged, the new entity would be unbeatable, Wiśniewski said.
