Starting this month, Terminal 1 at Liszt Ferenc International Airport will be used as an exclusive event center. The airport closed the terminal in May, following the bankruptcy of Malév Hungarian Airlines. Now called Terminal 1 Airport Event Center, the 2,000 sqm space has three main halls, a gallery and a terrace. It will now host corporate and personal events. The terminal was originally built in 1950 and was fully renovated in 2005.
