Teva opens new factory in Gödöllő

Teva opened a new 15,000 sqm pharmaceutical factory in Gödöllő, a town about 30 km outside Budapest. The HUF 22bn facility has the backing of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán who attended the opening ceremony and said that it is projects like Teva’s new factory that will help put the local economy back on track.
The factory will produce sterile products, including hypodermic needles and infusions. Teva Hungary, established in 1993, is the Hungarian subsidiary of the Israeli Teva Pharmaceutical Industries.
