The Prague Ruzyně International Airport is being re-named today to Václav Havel Airport Prague, in honor of the late Czech president. The ceremony takes place on what would have been Havel’s 76th birthday, and will be attended by 500 Czech political and cultural personalities. President Václav Klaus and the current prime minister Petr Nečas will not be attending. An exhibition of photographs of Havel will be opened as part of the today’s event.
