Mihnea Tobescu has been appointed as the new CEO of the Euroins Romania insurance company. For 15 years prior to this, he was the general manager of AIG Romania, now trading under the name of Chartis Romania. One of the objectives the new CEO has set out is to diversify the company’s business lines and its product portfolio.
Euroins Romania has been part of Eurohold since 2007. The company reached a 6.97 percent market share in the first half of 2012, which it says makes it the sixth largest insurer in Romania.
