The Romanian Senate unanimously passed a new ordinance which will include a Value Added Tax on all business invoices from now on.
The move is a bid to help small- and medium-sized companies, which used to foot the VAT for their clients.
The ordinance will apply to companies earning less than €500,000 a year on the condition the payment is made through bank transfer only.
