Ekospol to become a holding

25 September 2012

After 20 years on the Czech market, the residential developer Ekospol is changing its structure into a holding. The company, worth CZK 2.2bn, will continue to be exclusively owned by CEO Evžen Korec, who believes that the new structure will be more transparent and allow the company to have better control and more flexibility of its equity. Korec also points to the fact that the company is not going to move into any tax havens or create funds for qualified investors. “We are a Czech company, and we will continue to pay taxes in the Czech Republic,” he said.
