ČVUT to build research center in former steelworks

The Czech Technical University (ČVUT) hired Metrostav to build a new scientific and research center in the former Poldi Kladno steelworks area. The University center of energy efficient housing will focus on lowering energy consumption of buildings. Construction on 3 hectares of land is scheduled to finish next summer. The total project cost including equipment and operation launch is estimated at approximately CZK 750m. The center has been designed by Med Pavlik architects.
